Daily Note

Hello there 

  1. We will start working on our case study for HL students and SL students will work their IA.
  2. All students were required to submit a definition for one term on the genetic algorithms wiki page (via email) 
  3. We will review the markscheme for the case study.
  4. We will study quizlet and take a quiz
  5. We will watch another great, friendly video to learn about genetic algorithms.
  6. We will watch a video about creating  a genetic algorithm
  7. We will use code from this github repository.

Content

You should be able to define every term in the case study. You should be able to explain each of the challenges. 

Process

One issue in the case study is to really understand the terms and challenges. It is important that you are able to explain to someone else whateach term means. 

Product

The best way to gauge your understanding of a case study is to create a product which applies your understanding of the case study. For example: 

  1. for blockchain: create a blockchain or create a miner
  2. for self-driving cars: create a primitive artificial vision system
  3. for genetic algorithms: create a genetic algorithm to manage a timetable
