Hello! 

  1. We will spend much of class reviewing your test
  2. We will reflect on our study habits so we can improve our next test
  3. We will review grade descriptors for IB Computer Science
  4. If we have time, we will cover: 
    1. Boolean operators
    2. Truth tables
    3. Logic diagram

 

Our Big idea

The big idea for today is Computer organization.

The essential questions for this topic are:

How does a computer actually work? You know, like, really?

It takes time to explore and really understand a big idea. If you want to

We are learning this because as a designers must understand scientific and technical innovation. Designers use systems, models, methods, and processes to solve problems.

Standards

Define the Boolean operators: AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR and XOR. Construct truth tables using the above operators. Construct a logic diagram using AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR and XOR gates.
