Daily Note

Hello!

  1. We will briefly review what we've learned about computer organization so far. We are almost done with the first section!!
  2. We will learn about persistent storage
  3. We will dig a bit deeper into the registers in the CPU
  4. We will look a bit at the control unit

  5. Deep breath - we are going to take our first trip through the machine instruction cycle
  6. We will learn how to use a simulation to understand the machine instruction cycle

Our Big idea

The big idea for today is Computer organization.

The essential questions for this topic are:

How does a computer actually work? You know, like, really?

It takes time to explore and really understand a big idea. If you want to
learn more about computer organization (which is connected to today's daily note), please click here .

We are learning this because as a designers must understand scientific and technical innovation. Designers use systems, models, methods, and processes to solve problems.
