Setting up our tools and workflow

Our plan for the day: 

  1. We will review the rules in our classroom
     
  2. We will review some of our classroom systems:
    1. google classroom
    2. daily notes <-- ALWAYS START OUR CLASS WITH DAILY NOTES!
    3. moodle
       
  3. Please follow the instructions in our getting started guide you will need an email from me that has a subject line that says "your account" (or something like that)
     
  4. Please open the "setting up" topic on our moodle course. Make sure you are logged in. Please follow the instructions on the "setting up" topic. 
     
  5. We will go, step-by-step, for our instructions.
     
  6. We will learn about local hosts and remote hosts
  7. We will learn a bit about an IDE
  8. We will start learning about HTML
  9. you will code your first "hello world" program in HTML ON THE ACTUAL INTERNET! 
     
  10. We will review our learning

Your homework for today: 

  1. Please complete the 3 assessments and one practical programming project for HTML
