    2. syntax hilighting

  6. We have a bit more setup to do, let's get to it.
    1. We are going to setup SFTP. This will enable you to upload your files from Warsaw to our server in Frankfurt, Germany. (cool, huh?)
    2. Please open the email I sent you with the subject line "your account".
    3. Please open visual studio code
    4. Please ensure you are working from your programming folder.
    5. Finally, we will be very careful about saving our work in the right folder

  7. We will learn about HTML and start coding!
    1. We will watch this video
    2. We will look at the anatomy of an HTML element

Our Big idea

The big idea for today is Course orientation.

The essential questions for this topic are:

What do I need to know, understand and do to be prepared for this class?

It takes time to explore and really understand a big idea. If you want to
learn more about course orientation (which is connected to today's daily note), please click here .

We are learning this because as a designers must understand scientific and technical innovation. Designers use systems, models, methods, and processes to solve problems.

Reminders & routines:

IF (this_block == first_block_day) {
     read_daily_bulletin;
}

IF (today == Friday) {
     computing_careers()
}

As I am taking attendance:

  1. For students who are physically at ASW: Please check now: am I connected to the American School of Warsaw wireless network
  2. Please check now: is visual studio code working from my programming folder?
