Our plan for the day: 

  1. We have 20 minutes for our first class
  2. We will take attendance - I will be asking you how I should pronounce your names
  3. I will introduce the big idea of our first class. 
  4. We will review the rules in our classroom
  5. We will review some of our classroom systems:
    1. google classroom
    2. daily notes
    3. managebac
       
  6. If we have time, we will look at some solutions students made last year (and in previous years
     
  7. We will be introduced to our class syllabus
     
  8. Our definition of learning: Learning is growth from where you are to where you want to go.
     
  9. We will review our learning

Your homework for today: 

  1. Please think about your learning goals. You should have 2 or 3 goals. I will ask you to share your learning goals with our class when we meet again.
